Artist | Bernice Lord

Bernice (Brie) Lord is a native of Connecticut where she continues to maintain a printmaking studio in New London.

Bernice studied art at Hartford Art School University of Hartford, the Lyme Academy College of Fine Art, and the University of Connecticut School of Art.

She attended workshops in oil and pastel painting with Foster Caddell in Voluntown CT and with abstract painter, Elizabeth Pirot in Bournazel France.

After graduating from Eastern Conn. State University, Bernice worked for the CT Dept. of Mental Health and Addiction Services. A Psychiatric Social Worker, she retired in 2003.
